Station 16 Gallery is excited to sponsor Current, a group exhibition of street artists at The Arsenal. While the contemporary art gallery has regular exhibitions, this is its first exhibition focusing on urban art. As a laboratory exhibition, the public has the opportunity to view the artists while they are at work. The temporary studio/exhibit opened to the public on October 7th and will remain so through the week. Current will have a closing reception on Saturday October 11th, which will display the finished works of the artists. The night will consist of a VIP reception from 6-9pm, with general access following.

Current features nine street artists, both local and international, consisting of Case (Germany), Alexis (Puerto Rico), Labrona (Canada), Sten & LEX (Italy), Jérôme Mesnager (France), Louis Bottero (France), Kevin Ledo (Canada), Whatisadam (Canada), and Philippe Van Eetvelt (Canada).

Additionally, the gallery will display the works of other prominent street artists, including Peter Klansen, Banksy, Ben, Jef Aérosol, Luc Grafteau, Babak Amini, and Invader.

The exhibition presents a unique opportunity to see the artists create their work from start to finish. Manifested in the incredible space of The Arsenal, this is a limited-time event that is not to be missed!

La galerie Station 16 est heureuse de s’associer à Current, une exposition d’artistes urbains à l’Arsenal. Ce sera la première exposition d’art urbain pour le centre d’art contemporain Montréalais. Étant une exposition de type  « laboratoire », Current offre la possibilité au public de voir les artistes en plein processus créatif.
